Advanced digital photography course

This course is intended for those who wish to improve and upgrade their knowledge about photography and computer photo-editing, learn about photomontage and enhance their sense of good photography. The emphasis is on the practical component and the solution of photography-related problems. If you want to learn about the basics, participate in our digital photography course for beginners.
 

Start: Upon request.
Duration: 20 teaching hours
(5 weeks, day of the week is determined with the start date).
Existing knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS.
  • Good knowledge of a camera's functions (participants should know where to set specific functions such as aperture, ISO, correction and brightness).
  • Basic knowledge of English to be able to work with programs in English along with explanations in Slovenian.

Content

  • Photographing portrait and still life with the emphasis on form
  • Analysing photography and learning about problem-solving with composition and image symmetry.
  • Learning about and using the programs for photo-editing.
  • Editing photographs with program tools and creating a photomontage.
  • Analysing participants’ photographs.
  • Preparation of images for web pages, printing, framing and exhibition.

All participants will receive a CD with the lectures.
